HOW TO ENTER

To participate in the monthly drawings, log onto www.real-rochester.com and fill out the WinRealBig survey or complete and return the survey in the printed edition of Real. All entries for a particular month must be received by the last day of the month at 11:59 pm EST. Neither the Rochester Business Journal, nor Real, will be held responsible for mutilated, illegible, lost, misdirected, misdelivered, late, incorrect or incomplete entries. Neither the Rochester Business Journal, nor Real, will be held responsible for delays, interruptions, equipment malfunction, technical difficulties or Web site errors.

One entry per person, per month.

Drawings will be held monthly from September 2007 through May 2008.

ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS

The contest is open to all persons of Junior or Senior status at the college or university level attending or residing in the Greater Rochester area (counties of Genesee, Livingston, Monroe, Ontario, Orleans, Steuben, Wayne or Yates).

Students must be actively matriculated and may need to furnish proof of enrollment.

Employees of the Rochester Business Journal or Real, freelancers, participating sponsors, promotional partners, advertisers and the members of their immediate families or anyone residing in the household are ineligible to participate or win.

PRIZES

One prize will be awarded monthly from September 2007 through June 2008.

Winners will be chosen from the entries submitted on the real-rochester.com Web site and from those received by mail. Eligible entries start at 12:01 a.m. EST on the first of the month and end at 11:59 p.m. EST on the last day of the month.

The winner will receive the prize listed on the Web site for that particular month. No prize substitutions, cash equivalent, or transfer of prizes permitted except at the sole discretion of the Rochester Business Journal, Real and its Contest Sponsors. Prizes are expressly limited to those listed. Other restrictions may apply.

All prizes or prize certificates may be picked up at the office of Rochester Business Journal, 45 East Avenue, Suite 500, Rochester, NY 14604. The winner will forfeit any prize or prize certificate not claimed within forty-five (45) days of winning. In the event that a prize or prize certificate is to be mailed to the winner, Rochester Business Journal is not liable for theft, loss or damage through risk of mailing. Rochester Business Journal is not responsible for the safe arrival of a prize or prize certificate.

WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION

Decisions of Rochester Business Journal and Real with respect to each monthly drawing are final.

Winner of each monthly drawing will be randomly selected by Rochester Business Journal and Real from the pool of all eligible entrants received between the first of the month at 12:01 a.m. EST and the last of the month at 11:59 p.m. EST. The winner will then be notified by phone and e-mail one to two weeks after the end of the month.

Odds of winning solely depend on the number of entrants for that particular month.

CONDITIONS

By participating in the monthly contests, the winner agrees to their name being posted on the Real web site (www.real-rochester.com) and in other promotional communications and materials.

Prior to awarding any prize or prize certificate, Rochester Business Journal and Real in its sole discretion may require contest winners to sign a liability release, agreeing to hold Rochester Business Journal and Real harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the contest.

Rochester Business Journal and Real reserve all rights to changes made in the rules of the contest, including substitution of a prize of equivalent value, which will become effective on announcement. If, due to circumstances beyond the control of Rochester Business Journal and Real, the contest is delayed, rescheduled, postponed or canceled, Rochester Business Journal and Real reserve the right, but not the obligation, to cancel or modify the contest and shall not be required to award a substitute prize.

Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in an entrant's disqualification.
