brown's race and high falls

Visitors can get a good view of the thundering High Falls of the Genesee River day or night from the Pont de Rennes, a pedestrian bridge named after Rochester’s sister city in France. It’s a great place to view the city’s laser light shows in the summer. During the day, ad agencies, tech companies and engineering firms fill repurposed factory buildings. At night, brick-paved streets make it a favorite location for outdoor concerts and festivals, most notably High Falls Party in the Park, free concerts on summer Thursday nights. Soccer and baseball fans go to games at nearby Frontier Field and Paetec Park. (The stadiums sit in the shadow of Eastman Kodak Co.’s world headquarters on State Street.)
